Visas

Depending on the type of passport to be used, its country of origin and on the current agreements, the Uruguayan Immigration Authorities may request a visa to enter the country. For diplomatic and official passports, such visa will be requested with a Note Verbale from the Official Representation of the country of origin of such passports, and for regular passports an application form has to be filed. Select among the options the one to which your passport belongs, so you can follow the instructions.

Regular Visa

Holders of regular passports that require visa to travel to Uruguay may apply by email. Without prejudice of the personal interview that might be requested, the documentation to be presented or filed to start the process is the following:
